Links to delete account don't work.
They'll bombard you with emails but refuse a trial membership. Lack of customer service to solve issues. Just avoid, they gave me no confidence that this is a legit company.

In summary, I would not recommend Urban Social to a friend.

Signed up at first with free account and spent a week looking at rubbish profiles and women being completely unrealistic. Messages needed an account to view so eventually I had an email to sign up with a discounted month. I signed up for the month and made sure I cancelled after two weeks. I was offered a further free two weeks and accepted it. Once these were in play I cancelled my subscription and kept an eye on the cancellation so it was in place for when it expires. The day my subscription expired I found out it had been renewed so I contacted my bank and they stopped the payment. I found out they had taken other payments without my knowledge.
AVOID!

In summary, I would not recommend Urban Social to a friend.

Wouldn't waste any of your time or money on any of the sites operated by their parent company , to entice extra payment you will get bombarded by pages of suitable dates , if you find the button to display the dates these people were last on the site says 1 month plus , after contacting a few people who I knew were on the site many are years old , and it seems almost impossible to delete a profile . I invented a name and got an email address simply to check this site . my personal opinion its simply legalised robbery , the company are making a huge amount of money out of lonely people, who could get much better service from many of the free sites

In summary, I would not recommend Urban Social to a friend.

I wanted to cancel my subscription and found that the only way to do this was by calling an 0800 phone number. I was out of the UK and couldn't do that. I sent repeated messages to the support team explaining my predicament. For 2 days I received replies telling me to call the 0800 number - as if they hadn't read my message properly. My subscription was eventually cancelled but not until my renewal date had passed and they had taken a payment for another month. Am I being cynical in thinking that they 'messed around' in order to get another month's subscription?!?!

In summary, I would not recommend Urban Social to a friend.

It's so hard to see the good points on this site. The ice breaker messages are a real pain. These are basically messages sent by new members that get sent to half of England (supposedly local contacts). You get so many in your inbox it's hard to sift through them in order to find the messages that have actually been sent to you personally. It's just like spam. I contacted support to see if they could be disabled. Unfortunately they can't. I think the reason behind it is to make account look active. I just don't see the point. A total waste of money. The only positive it's that support get back to you. There are way better dating sites out there and ones that are free.

In summary, I would not recommend Urban Social to a friend.
