Tfor2.com is an honest site. It won’t flood your personal email account with junk and it always lets you view messages. It’s a no-messing-about sort of approach which is refreshing. Profiles are fairly generic though one interesting feature worth considering is the “diary”, where members can write about their day, their thoughts and feelings to present their honest lifestyle and feelings. This is a good way to get a better sense of a member and their perspectives, not just through your conversations with them. You can also see whether they have made you a “favourite” member and who has been viewing your profile, which is pretty handy when you want to see who is interested in you before you approach them. There are a few ways to show someone you’re interested on tfor2.com: the simplest and perhaps most effective is to message them using a tfor2 email account, but you can also send small, digital gifts such as chinking champagne glasses and a kiss icon.

The site works on a point system. Essentially this means that you can do as little or as much as you like but the more you do the more points it will cost. You can earn points too, by updating your profile, logging on or having people visit your page. The rewards for these tasks are pretty minor though.

A search can bring up some disappointing results. Even from a main city in the UK a basic search (by gender, location and age range) brings up few matches, many of which have no photos or who haven’t bothered to update their profile. The photo quality that members are allowed to upload is pretty good (a maximum of 5 megabytes) but the site doesn’t tell you when a member was last online so you may spend a lot of time messaging people you’re interested in who haven’t been online for a month or more. This can be frustrating when the list of potential matches isn’t that big to start off with. Tfor2 isn’t the cheapest UK dating site out there, either, though it does have a selection of packages to help you pick one that’s suitable. If you think you’d like to take your time and not to be overly active then it might be worth a points bundle, which you can spend over time at your leisure. If you’re keen to be very active over a shorter period then monthly packages are also available where you are unrestricted in how much you can do and how many messages and gifts you can send.

Tfor2 is an inviting site, it’s easy to start searching and to register, but your labour could be in vain. Its points system offers users a choice of approach and it’s good to always be able to send and read messages, but too many profiles seem abandoned, reducing your chance of finding love.
