Editor's Verdict: Midsummers Eve seems to be a really great site with heaps of features and VERY cheap subscription fees. We really like how users can sign up, for a reasonable price, for only 2 weeks in order to get a feel for the site. It's definitely worth a look! Users get help in creating their profiles. They can even add audio, which will give other members an extra insight into their personality, thereby increasing the chances of a date! It must be mentioned that non-paying members earn their right to send messages and more by signing in to their profiles and interacting with other members. We think this is a nice idea as it doesn't put any pressure on users to sign up for subscription; if they wish to contact other members, they simply need to utilize the site! There is an emphasis on socializing and people are not pressured into pushing for dates. There are message boards and groups which encourage people to chat, something that could potentially lead to a lot more if you're lucky and end up speaking to someone you've got something in common with!
